Industry Presentations

ASNY works with industry professionals in the real estate industry to help them understand the benefits of sustainable building and operations methods, define strategies to develop a plan of action to implement them with buildings in their inventory and encourage them to support green building projects in their communities.

LEED Training

LEED, the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design building-rating system, is the Green Standard for certifying the sustainability of today’s building projects. We provide several packages to prepare individuals for differing levels of involvement in LEED projects.  We hold training classes in the tri-state area to educate participants about becoming LEED Green Associates or LEED Accredited Professionals. We provide support for training classes and study groups.

Schools

ASNY works with schools to infuse an educational component of sustainable practices into their curriculum and participate in green building projects.  We work with the their faculty to teach students the benefits of sustainability, introduce them to sustainable building methods and help get them involved with initiatives in their community, as a way to promote awareness and the potential for career opportunities.
