LEED Consulting

Alternative Solutions provides consultation services on LEED building concepts.  We help customers design and implement energy efficient and environmentally friendly technologies and processes for new buildings, renovations, and as part of ongoing building reviews/audits.

Building/renovation projects benefit from having a LEED accredited professional to ensure that the building and building location take a holistic view of design that integrates energy efficiency and environmental considerations throughout the life of the project.  Doing so results in a higher quality environment for building occupants and a lower environmental impact of the building itself.

The LEED Approach

LEED provides building owners and operators a framework for identifying and implementing practical and measurable green building design, construction, operations and maintenance solutions.  LEED certification provides third-party verification that a building project meets the highest performance standards; conformity with requirements is vouched for by design and construction professionals on the development team.  USGBC reviewers verify documentation provided during design and after construction.

After LEED certification, projects are encouraged to apply for an additional rating for ongoing building operations under LEED for Existing Buildings.
